Kemp's ridley turtle

This is a juvenile Kemp's ridley turtle. Immature Kemp's ridley turtles often have sharp keels on their vertebral scutes similar to immature loggerheads however, the colouration is completely different in Kemp's ridleys with the dorsal aspect being shades of grey/olive with white/yellow underneath.

The carapace is as wide as it is long with 4 pores each side in the inframarginal scutes.
